- Staus update on the MAX-10/15 and MAX-11A1/15 upper receivers. 08/12/20
Regarding the status of the MAX-10/15 and MAX-11A1/15 upper receivers we submitted to BATFE Firearms and Technology Division, we called to leave a message the other day and their system will not let you leave a message anymore. The old system used to be that you would call, leave a message and an agent would call you back within 24 hours. We called and left a message about 6 months ago and they never returned it. Instead of reaching voicemail, you hear a recording of their mail in address. We will write a letter, but it's probably pointless. There might be agents working from home due to Covid, but I doubt it. Our best guess is that we will hear something early next year.

Prototypes of the MAX-11A1/15 and MAX-10/15 were submitted to FATD on 08/01/2019. We have not yet received a response from FATD. When we have received a positive determination, we will commence production. Since a lot of parts are common with the MAX-11/15, we expect to have uppers available for sale within two months of approval.

Status update on the MAX-10/15 and MAX-11A1/15 upper receivers. 03/22/2022
The first run of MAX-11A1/15 Uppers will be ready in April! If you are in the first production run you will receive an e-mail from Lage Manufacturing within the next few days. Please make sure to reply to the e-mail to secure your spot on the list!
Status update on the MAX-10/15 and MAX-11A1/15 upper receivers. 01/11/2022
The BATFE has determined that the MAX-11A1/15 and the MAX-10/15 Upper Receivers are not a firearm! This letter is what we have been waiting on in order to start production on the new 5.56 Upper Receivers for the M-11A1 and M-10 SMG's. Anyone who is already on the waiting list will get an e-mail about one month prior to when their Upper will be ready. This e-mail will require a response since we will be asking if you are still interested in the Upper Receiver. We do this for lists that are old to make sure we're getting Uppers to people as fast as possible once they're ready to ship. Since we had to wait a while to get a response from BATFE, the lists for these Uppers are now over 2 years old. A waiting list is still being formed for both Uppers.
