Ejector Rod for the M-11/9 SMG. Hardened for extra strength. The Ejector Rod is the smaller of the two rods in the Bolt Assembly. If your Bolt Assembly does not freely move back and forth, check to see if your Ejector Rod is bent. If so, replace it. Over insertion of some aftermarket steel magazines can bend the Ejector Rod.
